This basic course is
intended primarily for those who have never drawn or are a
bit rusty (see below). The five sessions held in the gallery,
will concentrate on all the basics of good drawing practice
ie tracking, line, form, composition and perspective. Each
subject taught as a visual tool is intended to complement
and develop rather than change any individual style. By explaining
the reasons behind the methods each subject becomes both understandable
and usable.
One
subject per evening of the five sessions.attendance at all
five sessions qualifies you for the certificate, missed classes
can be taken in the next session for free until February 2010,
after this there will be a half-price
charge per lesson missed.
This course is also suitable
for those who have done some or even a lot of drawing in the
past ,are a bit out of practice and wish to refresh their
skills. Some of our post-graduate students and professionals
in other artistic fields have found it to be very helpful
and have had excellent results.
Although this course uses a life model
the principles apply to all types of subject matter.
